The Moving Chamber Choir

If you are interested in joining us we are at times looking for new voices. Any prospective member would be a reasonably experienced singer, able to sight sing. Our rehearsals take place on some Friday evenings from 7.45pm to 9.45pm and some Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 5pm. We perform 3 main concerts a year, but also take part in festivals inbetween, such as the Brandenburg Festival and the Chelsea Fringe. We also have a weekend away during the year. Previous years have included Paris, Bruges and Ghent and Lisbon. We can send you the rehearsal dates for this year, if you would be interested.

 

The fees depend on how many singers there are, but they are usually around £80 to £100 per concert. This covers the conductor, the rehearsal venues and music, plus expenses for participation in any festivals. 

 

We would ask you to come to a rehearsal and then, if you would like to take it further, have an audition with Benedict.
